What Siteimprove reports would be of interest to my manager?

We know that reporting on progress with Siteimprove is important, and it can often be difficult to choose which reports to pass on to upper-level management. We provide numerous reports that are easy to access allowing you to get a comprehensive view of your progress.
You can see the reporting options for widgets throughout the platform, by clicking on the “Export” button in the top right corner. Options available can depend on the widget and include "Download Excel file", "Export to PDF/HTML" and "Add widget to dashboard".
We recommend using the dashboard reports as they can be easily scheduled.
Below are some examples of reports and widgets that may be useful to you and your manager:
- Dashboard standard reports
- Quality Assurance widgets
- Accessibility widgets
- SEO widgets
- Policy widgets
- Analytics widgets
- Academy reports
Dashboard standard reports
These are useful pre-configured dashboard reports that show how well your site is doing across different modules e.g. QA, Accessibility, SEO, Analytics, Ads.
As well as the pre-configured dashboards you can create customized dashboards to meet your needs.
The pre-configured dashboards of interest to management include:
- Management dashboard: A top-level view of the state of your websites.
- DCI Score dashboard: DCI® Scores across modules (e.g. QA, Accessibility, SEO).
- Digital Marketing Reporting dashboard: Provides you with a comparable overview of key data from SEO, Analytics, and Ads.
Note: There are some other pre-configured dashboards that are more of interest to editors, these include the QA Editor Dashboard and Accessibility Editor Dashboard.
Customizable dashboards allow you to include the widgets you want in the dashboard and scheduled reports. The widgets listed later in this article can be added to a dashboard that can then be scheduled as a report. To schedule a report, click on Reports > Schedule report. Quality Assurance widgets
QA Progress graph
A useful site progress graph can be found by going to Quality Assurance > QA Overview and scrolling to the bottom of the page. Click on "Export" and "Add widget to dashboard".
QA All Sites Overview
Similarly, the ‘My Sites report’ for Quality Assurance showing details of pages scanned, QA Score, and issues over time can be found at Quality Assurance > Summary > My Sites. Click on "Export" and "Add widget to dashboard".
Accessibility Progress Graph
The Accessibility Progress Graph can be found by going to Accessibility > Accessibility Overview and scrolling to the bottom of the page. Here you can sort the graph by either issues or occurrences. Click on the ellipsis "(⋯)" and "Add widget to dashboard".
Accessibility All Sites
An ‘All Sites report’ for Accessibility showing details on pages scanned and level A/AA/AAA issues over time can be found at Accessibility > Summary > My Sites. Click on the ellipsis "(⋯)" and "Add widget to dashboard".
SEO Progress report
The SEO Progress Graph can be found by going to SEO > SEO Overview and scrolling to the bottom of the page. Here you can see your overall SEO Score and how your score in the different SEO categories changes over time. Click on Export to add to a dashboard or export data.
Overall Policy Report
The overall state of your policies can be found at Policy > Policy Overview. Here, you can see many summary components that can be added to dashboard reports using the "Add widget to dashboard" option using "Export".
Policy Progress report
You can also include the progress for a specific policy within a report. To view go to Policy > My Policies > Select the policy to see the progress graph. Here you can view your progress in reducing instances of the issue highlighted by the policy.
If you subscribe to Siteimprove Analytics, you can add the appropriate widgets to the dashboard and schedule reports as described in Configuring Siteimprove Dashboards and Dashboard reports.
