How to delete a site

Answer

You can delete a site from the Siteimprove Intelligence Platform by navigating to Sites, selecting the site, and choosing Delete site from the options menu. Once deleted, the site can be restored within 14 days from the Pending deletion tab. Only Account Owners or users with equivalent rights can delete a site.

Prerequisites

When you delete a site from your account, all Analytics data, decisions, and settings relating to the site will also be deleted. Only Account Owners or a user with equivalent user rights can delete a site.

Scenario 1: Delete a Site

Delete a site

  1. Click on the Gear icon in the top right corner of the Siteimprove Intelligence Platform. Note: If you hover over the Gear icon, it will say "Users and service specific settings"
  2. Select Sites from the drop-down.
  3. From the list of sites, identify the site you want to delete.
  4. Click the three dots icon to the right site you want to delete.
  5. From the drop-down menu that appears, select Delete site. 


Scenario 2: Restore a Deleted Site

Restoring a deleted site

Once deleted, you can restore the site within 14 days as follows:

  1. Click on the Gear icon in the top right corner of the Siteimprove Intelligence Platform. Note: If you hover over the Gear icon, it will say "Users and service specific settings"
  2. Select Sites from the drop-down.
  3. Select the Pending deletion tab.
  4. Click the Cancel button next to the site you want to restore.
