Task Management Early Access Known Limitations

Task Management Early Access has several known limitations. Currently, content is only available in English, filter and layout preferences are not retained after refreshing or reopening the page, and browser search (Ctrl + F) cannot find tasks that are outside the visible area of the screen. These behaviors are expected in the current Early Access implementation.

Overview

This article is relevant to users taking part in our Task Management Early Access program. The purpose of the Early Access program is to ensure what we are building the right solutions, in line with your needs as our customer.

To ensure we gather feedback in good time, we are giving you access, before we have finalized the solution details, therefore some functionality may be missing.

Below, you will find a list of known limitations in the current implementation (subject to change). We hope this list can help guide your feedback by outlining known quirks and limitations that currently exist in our implementation.

Symptom: Task Management is only available in English

Content is only available in English

Currently, because this is an Early Access offering, we do not offer the feature in multiple languages, as such everything in the interface will be displayed in English.

Symptom: My task filters are not saved after refresh or reopening the page

Filter preferences are not persistent

Currently, when you navigate to the Task Management Overview page, you can click on user avatars to filter tasks shown by assignee. However, if you refresh your browser page or close the window and open it again, the system will not remember the filter you applied previously. By default, the filter is set to none, meaning all tasks will be displayed.

Symptom: My preferred task layout is not saved

Layout preferences are not persistent

Currently, when you navigate to the Task Management Overview page, you can choose to display tasks differently: in List View or in Kanban view. Task Management Overview page

If you refresh your browser page or close the window and open it again, the system will revert to default view, currently being the Column view (also known as Kanban view).

Symptom: Browser search (Ctrl + F) cannot find all tasks

The Browser's built-in Search won't find tasks outside the screen's visible area

Currently, when you navigate to the Task Management Overview page, you are presented with an overview of all tasks on your company account. This can mean, that if you have a lot of tasks, some will not visible on screen, but instead be hidden outside of the rendered space on your screen. When you use the built-in browser search function (Ctrl + F) you cannot find matches outside of what is visible on your screen.
